I've been interested in Hugh Laurie, and he's been good to my blog. I just checked my page views, and my posts about him, from years ago, were the highest viewed posts. Hmmm.
I am not sure how much of it has to do with the posts being cross-posted to Blogcritics; presumably one could read the posts there as easily as here.
I think that means if you're writing about a popular celebrity, people will read your blog.
My current celebrity interests include Johnny Lee Miller (starring in Elementary) and Josh Hutcherson (of Hunger Games fame; Mrs. Robinson alert!), but nobody has grabbed me like Hugh did. Maybe he will be my last true TV boyfriend? My first was Pierce Brosnan as Remmington Steele.
